Mel Kadel

I'm really surprised I haven't posted anything about Mel Kadel on this blog yet. Mel is one of my favorite artists.  I remember discovering her work because she did the cover art for the album Pikul by the Silversun Pickups.

I would really like to know the concept behind these pieces. I really love this!

^^the titles of the pieces are on her website. i probably should have posted them too...the titles would probably make the piece's concept clearer.

she uses the same character in all of her pieces, but they are always doing different things....
